The Bloat

I want to give an update on my pregnancy. So far I feel great. I have no morning sickness, cramps or spotting. I definitely feel pregnant but healthy.

However, there is one major problem I am having. It is called bloating. I have lost weight in my arms and legs but my stomach full of bloating. Yes, pregnancy bloat is real. It is a real thing.

I have been doing some reading about this pregnancy bloat and it is said that the bloat during the second trimester will eventually start going away, which I am looking forward to. I cannot wait for this bloating to just level out.

Lets just say that I am already rocking my give up pants. Some of my favorite gym clothing are already tight, which is not fair. I hit the gym daily and I eat only a raw, vegan diet consisting of only fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds. I cook 100% of my meals and I have not treated myself to any sort of treat since finding out I am pregnant.

I am only 5 weeks along and I am ready for this pregnancy to be over. I am sick and tired of being unable to give myself a treat such as juice or vegan cookies. I want vegan ice cream so bad but I know that weight gain during pregnancy is a real thing and I want and need to keep my weight under control, which apparently I am not at the moment so I just have to try harder.

I am already planning my post pregnancy meal 9 months from now and lets just say I cannot wait to be able to eat anything other than veggies and fruits.
