God has a plan

As the ski patrol worked on my lifeless body on that race course in Winter Park, Colorado, I found myself in a beautiful garden full of red and pink flowers. Standing next to me was my grandfather, who I called PopPop. PopPop had died several months before and now I was with him again. God was there too. I never saw God but I felt Him. I felt the strong love He has for us and I knew I was safe.

While I was in that garden, safe with our Lord, I remember hearing God say to me,"Aubrie, I have a plan. My plan is perfect. Trust me. Trust in my plan." Although unsure of God's plan for my life I knew not to question it, for whatever He had planned for me, it was good.

I want you to know that God not only has a plan for my life but He has one for you life too. You might not know what it is but just know that God loves you very much and His plan is perfect. God will never hurt you and when pain does strike it is God who will fix it and make it good again.

That accident was horrible. It was not something that I wanted to have happen to me. No one wants to get hurt or sick. No one wants to be broken but the truth is it happens. Life is not always fun and happy. Sometimes things do happen to us and those things can be devastating.

When those painful events do occur in your life that is the time when God is working His hardest to make things right again. When you are at your worst is when sometimes you will see the best in people. Little miracles are sent from Heaven when we are struggling and sometimes those little miracles turn into something huge. Just know that you always have our Lord to turn to and He will never, ever let you down. For God has a plan and His plan is perfect.
