Feminism Hurts

I was watching a show the other day about feminism. I am not going to sit here and give a women's right speech. After all, we are all sick of it. I am however, going to talk about how men are silenced and what is happening when men speak up about subjects that affect a man just as much as they affect a woman.

The show I watched was about a group of men campaigning for the right of the unborn baby. I do not know the men who had posters up that were against abortion. I do not know their backgrounds or their reasons for being against abortion but in reality, who cares. Does it really matter why they are against it? The fact is that they have every right to be for or against abortion and they have every right to speak up on the subject. Just because they are men does not mean that they need to be silenced.

Well, there was a woman who was extremely offended by this group of men and their opinion. She decided to not only speak up, which she had every right to do but she took it to the next level. Instead of calmly voicing her opinion and coming up with a valid argument, this woman decided to damage the mens property and physically assault one of the men. During it all the men stayed composed and calm and they handled the situation perfectly.

I also want to point out that during this woman's ranting and raving she told the men,"You have no right to speak on such subjects. You do not have a uterus so you don't have a voice." Have we really come to a place in our society where men have to be silenced on not only a subject that is so controversial but on other subjects as well that have to do with humanity?

Feminism is not what it was in the past. It is no longer the movements for women's rights to vote or for equal pay. Women are no longer walking the streets in protest to be allowed to join the work force. Women no longer need to take to the streets and fight for those basic human rights. We have them!

Feminism has taken a much darker turn and it is now silencing men. Men are now being judged for speaking against anything that will offend women. Feminism is also not only silencing men but it is silencing any woman who does not agree with the feminist.

There are numerous examples of women getting into heated debates against feminists. Feminists are not only telling men that men are not allowed to have a voice, they are telling women that we are not real, true women if we do not believe in everything they believe in.

I am not against women having equal rights but I am against women having more rights than men. I am against a group of people, (men) being silenced and being afraid to speak up because of women speaking on subjects that are relevant to both sexes.

Abortion is about both the mother and father and unborn baby. First, not all babies are girls. It takes two to make a baby and men have the right to speak out against it.

Women have equal pay. We do get paid the same amount as men. Some women make even more than men. I know tons of women who have more money than their husbands.

Women are the ones who have children and we are the ones who have the food for children. If a woman wants to stay home with her baby she is not being oppressed. She is a mother who is doing what is best for her baby. A stay at home mother is a rewarding and wonderful job.

Men have just as many rights to his child as the mother. He is the father and if he does not want the mother of his child to have an abortion then he should have a say. It should be his decision too, not only hers.

Women are not the only sex to be abused. We are not the only ones to be hit, stalked and murdered by a partner. Women are not the only ones who need to be careful when going on a first date. We might need to be more careful and more on guard than the man but things happen to men too by women.

Men have the right to be able to get out of a domestic violence situation and if needed men are allowed to defend themselves against a violent woman. It is never okay for a man to put his hands on a woman or for a woman to put her hands on a man. It goes both ways.

Feminists need to take a good look at what they are really fighting for. Are you ladies fighting for more rights or equal rights for all? Everyone deserves to be equal. Men have just as much as a right to be heard as a woman. Both men and women have the right to freedom.
