The thing I remember most about my dad is his love for the Lord. Jesus always came first in my dad's life and my father taught me and my brother to love Jesus Christ fearlessly.

Today marks the 1st year anniversary of the day Jay and I survived Eric's murder/suicide attempt at our home. We not only survived Eric's anger but we survived all that followed. Eric, I want you to know that Jay and I are happy. We have moved on from your selfish suicide. You are just a memory that has faded and that will continue to fade. You didn't win. One year ago today you lost and lost everything. Jay and I have moved forward. We both turned to Jesus Christ and found the love of the good Lord. Also, on October 7th we are getting married! God has truly blessed us and because of Jesus Christ's love and mercy Jay and I have found peace.

Didn't do anything eventful for my 30th. Jay and I had dinner plans but they fell through.

Someone took this of a tree that fell on a cross in hurricane Irma in Flroida. The cross still stands.

Went to pikes peak today for brain injury funding. Because of my sprained ankle we couldn't hike the 14er so we did a short hike around it instead. It was tons of fun.
